2. 🥊 Sport Can Build a Future | កីឡាអាចកសាងអនាគត

KKB believes that sport can be one of the most effective tools for helping a young person build a future. Not every child who enters a Kun Khmer gym will become a professional fighter — and that is not the only objective.

Training teaches qualities that can remain useful for life: discipline, confidence, perseverance, respect, physical fitness, mental strength and the ability to continue when things become difficult.

These qualities matter inside a boxing ring, but they can be even more valuable outside it. A young person who learns discipline and develops confidence can use these qualities at school, at work, in business, in relationships and when facing difficult moments in life.

A strong mind, self-confidence and discipline can open doors far beyond sport. Kun Khmer can therefore become not only a competitive discipline, but also a tool for personal development.

3. 🇰🇭 Robert Grégoire (Robert KKB): Personal Funding Behind the Project

At the current stage of the project, a very significant part of KKB’s expenses is personally financed by Robert Grégoire, known as Robert KKB, President of KKB Kun Khmer Boxing.

This includes a large part — and in many areas practically all — of the costs connected with the club: equipment, daily operating expenses, development activities and major infrastructure investments, including the boxing ring.

It also includes substantial investment in KKB’s online development, the websites, hosting, technical infrastructure, content production and the continuing expansion of the Kun Khmer database.

The financial and human investment does not stop at the physical club. One of the largest parts of the KKB project is happening online.

An enormous amount of time is required to research, structure, publish, correct and continually expand information about fighters, coaches, clubs, events, fight results, rankings, venues, competitions and the international development of Kun Khmer.

This work also requires hosting, servers, domain names, development tools, backups, storage, media management and continuing technical maintenance.

The objective is much larger than promoting one gym.
