គ្រូ ឈិត សារឹម គឺជាឈ្មោះដ៏សំខាន់មួយក្នុងប្រវត្តិសាស្ត្រគុនខ្មែរ និងជាអ្នកតំណាងឱ្យជំនាន់ចាស់ ដែលបានចូលរួមរក្សា បណ្តុះបណ្តាល និងអភិវឌ្ឍវិស័យប្រដាល់ខ្មែរអស់រយៈពេលជាច្រើនទសវត្សរ៍។
មុនក្លាយជាគ្រូបង្វឹក លោកក៏ជាអ្នកប្រដាល់ដ៏មានបទពិសោធន៍ផងដែរ។ ប្រភពប្រវត្តិសាស្ត្ររាយការណ៍ថា លោកបានប្រកួតចន្លោះឆ្នាំ 1960 ដល់ 1975 ប្រមាណ 110 ប្រកួត និងចាញ់តែ 2 ប្រកួត ប៉ុណ្ណោះ។

🥊 CHHITH SARIM — Never forget the generation that built the foundations of modern Kun Khmer 🇰🇭
Coach Chhith Sarim is an important name in the history of Kun Khmer and represents a generation of fighters and coaches who helped preserve, teach and develop Cambodian boxing over many decades.
Before becoming a coach, Chhith Sarim was himself an experienced fighter. Historical accounts report that he competed between 1960 and 1975, fighting approximately 110 bouts with only 2 losses.
He later became one of the coaches of Eh Phouthong, one of the greatest and most influential fighters in modern Kun Khmer history, widely known as a king of Cambodian boxing. Today retired from competition, Eh Phouthong continues transmitting his knowledge as a coach, while his son is also carrying the family legacy among today’s generation of fighters.
🌱 The old generation must never be forgotten.
If today’s Kun Khmer fighters can reach higher levels, it is because pioneers such as Chhith Sarim built the foundations before them, preserved their knowledge and passed it from one generation to the next.
