Phnom Penh is the setting for GANZBERG KUN KHMER KOMBAT SEASON 2 on 26 September 2026. In its account of the official press conference held the previous day, the Kun Khmer Federation Cambodia announced a 20:00 start at the Samdech Pichey Sena Tea Banh Sports Hall.
The venue and broadcast announced by the federation
The hall is part of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces Sports Centre, at the old stadium near the Kouch Kanong roundabout. The federation highlights the air-conditioned venue for spectators attending in person. Its announcement also names Bayon & BTV Boxing Fans and the official Beer Ganzberg Facebook page among the live broadcasters, alongside partner pages.
Khov Chhay, president of the Kun Khmer Federation Cambodia, chaired the press conference on 25 September. The federation also lists Mr. Brune, GANZBERG’s Brew Master, and Rick W. Shin, president of Kombat Global, among the presiding guests. The announced time is the start of the event in Cambodia, equivalent to 13:00 UTC.
A September marked by international connections
The programme follows several announcements concerning Cambodian combat sports. WAKO PRO named Khov Chhay Chairman of WAKO PRO Cambodia, with responsibility for managing, organising and supervising its competitions in the country. In his response, he emphasised cooperation with the Cambodia Kickboxing Federation, technical standards and opportunities for Cambodian athletes abroad.
Earlier in the month, Khov Chhay and the RCAF Sports Centre celebrated Lorn Panha’s victory at K-1 World MAX in Tokyo on 12 September. Both described it as the first victory by a Cambodian fighter on the K-1 stage in Japan. Their messages recognise the athlete’s achievement without giving a score or a method of victory.
On 13 September, Khov Chhay also thanked Hun Sen and Bun Rany Hun Sen for providing free tickets to Cambodian residents, workers and students in Japan. He linked the spectators’ support to the encouragement given to the Cambodian fighters. These Tokyo reports concern the 12 September event and are separate from the Phnom Penh programme of 26 September.
